About Slope Indicators

A slope indicator is an arrow that indicates the change in data value in a time series.

If the data value has not changed over time, the arrow points horizontally to the right. If it increases to the specified maximum value, the arrow points straight up. If it decreases to the specified minimum value, the arrow points straight down. If the data value is somewhere in between the minimum and maximum values, the arrow points to the right; the angle is determined by the change in value.

Four blue Slope Indicators: an arrow pointing directly up, an arrow pointing up and to the right, an arrow pointing down and to the right, and an arrow pointing down.
