Adding Page Links to a Menu Portlet

1. Browse to the portal page.
2. On the toolbar, click Edit to unlock the page and enable edit mode.

3. On the toolbar, click the chevron, and then select Settings.

   The Page ID can be found on the Settings dialog box.

1. Browse to the page that contains the menu portlet.

2. On the toolbar, click Edit to unlock the page and enable edit mode.

3. Click the menu portlet instance.

   A blue outline and a chevron appears on the selected portlet.

4. Click the portlet context menu chevron or right-click the portlet.

   The menu portlet context menu opens.

   

5. Select Edit.

   The Edit Menu Portlet dialog box opens, showing a list of existing linked pages.

6. Click Add.

   The Add Button dialog box opens.

   

7. Enter the portal page ID or URL of the first page that you want to add to the menu portlet.

8. Optionally, add a Label for the menu button. The default is to use the page name.

9. Optionally, enter the path to the image that you want to use on the menu button. The format is:

   $(IMAGES_URI)/<folder-name>/<file-name>

   The image library default location is DI\Solution\webdata\<diveport>\ customizations\images. The default image for menu buttons is:

   

10. Click OK.
11. Repeat steps 6–10 until you have finished adding pages.
12. On the Edit Menu Portlet dialog box, click OK to save the changes.

5. Select Edit.

   The Edit Menu Portletdialog box opens, showing a list of existing linked pages.

   

6. Click Add Page.

   The Add Page dialog box opens.

7. Enter the ID of the page you want to add to the menu portlet, and then click OK.

   The ID and Name of the page appear in the Edit Menu Portlet dialog box.

8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you are finished adding page links to the menu portlet, and then click OK to close the Edit Menu Portlet dialog box.

9. On the toolbar, click Save to exit edit mode and lock the page.

The linked page appears as a new button with the default menu icon in the menu portlet.
