A PrintDP node (Print DivePort page) is a Production process node that saves a selected DivePort page to either a PDF or PNG file without launching a browser.
The saved file can then be emailed to a defined mailing list. Use a PrintDP node to automate a process to share dashboards and key portal pages with users who do not regularly log on to the portal.
NOTE: PrintDP can print a DivePort page from another server, provided the target DivePort server has the caller in the list of gateway IPs and the user can be authenticated.
TIP: If you want to combine multiple PDF documents together, you can use a third-party tool such as PDFtk Server.
The PrintDP node has 
four panes where you set attributes.
Node Attributes
You set attributes for the PrintDP node in the node attributes pane.

| Name | Specify a descriptive name for the node. Lower case names maximize usage of the available space. |
| DiveLine Port (Required) |
Specify the port number used for this DivePort site. |
| DiveLine Server (Required) |
Specify the DiveLine Server name or IP address where this DivePort site resides. |
| DiveLine User (Required) |
Specify the DiveLine user to log on to this DivePort site. DiveLine ACL's are applied when the page is rendered. IMPORTANT:The user account must be licensed for DivePort. |
| Document Type | Specify PDF or PNG for the attachment type. The default is PDF. |
| Email Object |
Set to have an email sent to a predefined mailing list when the node completes. The pull-down list is populated with items from the Email Template section of the Mailing Lists tab of the Project Settings tab. See Mailing Lists Tab. |
| Page Height | Specify any customization of the page height in pixels. The default is 1056, which equates to an 8.5" x 11" page at 96 DPI. |
| Page Width | Specify any customization of the page width in pixels. The default is 816, which equates to an 8.5" x 11" page at 96 DPI. |
| Seconds to wait for page to render |
Deprecated. Best to leave blank. Previously used to specify, in seconds, how long to wait for a page to render, to ensure slow Markers were loaded before the page was printed. As of 7.0(34), DivePort automatically alerts Production Service that the page render is complete. This field is ignored if DivePort is newer than that. |

| Email Object for failure |

| Failure node | Select the next node upon failure. The pull-down list contains all nodes that are on the Task Flow. |
| Success node | Select the next node upon successful completion. The next node automatically populates if a connecting line is set on the Task Flow. The pull-down list contains all nodes that are on the Task Flow. |
| Working Directory |
Specifies the directory in which this node runs. If left blank, the Default Working Directory attribute that is set in the Start Control Node is used. When running a script, Production sets the working directory for the child process to the directory that contains the script, unless the node specifies a different directory. See Start Control Node. |
| Default Working Directory |
Displays the Default Working Directory that is set the the Start Control Node. If a Default Working Directory is not specified, this attribute is blank. Applies to all nodes. See Start Control Node. |
| External File Encoding |
Select the format for the node input files. If this attribute is blank, Workbench attempts to detect the type of encoding. This attribute is also used when saving log files. The encoding might need to be adjusted when using data with high bit Latin-1 characters or Unicode characters. |
Comments
Each node has an area where you can enter comments.
It is a DI best practice to enter a note for every node in a Production script. These notes can help you or a coworker understand the intent of the node and troubleshoot issues in the future.
Print Pages
For each DivePort page, specify the following information in the lower-left Print Pages pane:
- DivePort URL—Specify the complete URL of the DivePort page, including the page ID and the auto logoff option. For example:
https://dmac.dimins.com/diveport#page=a0060 - Attachment Name—Specify a name for the Email Object file attachment to be created. If left blank, the attachment name is generated with the format DivePort<_X>.<ext> where <_X> is a number and <ext> is the file extension based on the specified Document Type. For example, if the Document Type attribute is PDF, the first attachment is named DivePort.pdf, the second attachment is DivePort_1.pdf, and so on.
- File Name—Specify the location and file name where you want the document saved in Workbench Explorer within the project. This attribute is required if the Email Object is blank.
Parameters
Define parameters in the lower-right Parameters pane.
By default, the page generated contains all values for any QuickViews on the page. Use parameters in the node to set filter values for each QuickView.
NOTE: Node-level parameters are available only for the current node. See Parameters in Production for more information.
TIP:
- PrintDP node uses the embed=true option when invoking DivePort in order to suppress any message of the day or last login information messages.
