Pages Code Block

Here is a high level view of the basic syntax of a pages block:

  pages { 
    <page-type> id= <string> { 
      <page-details> 
    } 
    <page-type> id = <string> { 
      <page-details> 
    } 
  }

Pages blocks are typically located within a data-area block after the sections block. The id tags are required for ad hoc, cross, dive, overview, and report pages included in the pages block. Central pages generate links and related content automatically, so an id tag is not required. Central pages can only be used in pages blocks.

IMPORTANT: You can link to a data-area in the pages block from another data-area.
