About Consolidated MultiModel DivePlans
A Consolidated DivePlan, the most commonly selected type of MultiModel DivePlan, consists of several models that contain the same, or similar, sets of dimensions, summaries, and Info Fields.
MultiModel DivePlans combine more than one model into a single DivePlan that appears as one large model when you open the DivePlan in a Diver client. In addition to greater flexibility, MultiModel DivePlans offer the following advantages over Single Input DivePlans:
- Merge a model with up to 290 other models (for a maximum of 291 models), or merge one model with itself
- Define alias names for columns and models
- Display or remove core dimensions and associated Info Fields from the DivePlan
- Support nested DivePlans with "Complex" MultiModel DivePlans
NOTE: You cannot use a Lookup Model as the core model in a MultiModel DivePlan.
NOTE: Consolidated DivePlans do not have a parallel in cPlans because it is inefficient to list multiple cBases of identical structures in a cPlan. Instead, Spectre supports build-time consolidation where you can specify multiple text or cBase inputs of identical structure to be concatenated and built into one cBase.
