Document Library Attributes
If you have access to the server, you can view and add to the contents of document library directories from outside of DivePort. Also, with a special license, the ADMIN > Document Libraries feature is enabled in the user interface. This gives you direct access to Portal Media directory from the portal, as well as the ability to define and manage additional libraries in the doc-libraries directory on the server.
Each defined document library has a corresponding table structure with the following basic attributes:
- File time-stamp. The date and time that the file entry was created. The format is a slight variation of the ISO-8601 standard date format such that the last four digits are the current offset in hours from GMT.
- File size. The number of bytes of storage used by the file.
- Path. The file path relative to the current library directory.
- Created by. The name of the DiveLine user who created the entry. If blank, the entry resulted from a bulk load external to DivePort.
- Created at. The date and time the entry was created.
- Modified by. The name of the DiveLine user who last modified the entry.
- Modified at. The date and time that the entry was last modified.
- URL. The location of the document on the server. This appears as a download link in a Table Editor portlet.
You can use ADMIN > Document Libraries > Settings to add more attributes to any document library. These attributes serve as metadata, customized data about your library.
