Managing Diver Platform Licenses
Diver Platform 7.1 comes with a specific number of licenses for access to Dimensional Insight client applications. This topic describes how to use
NOTE: Some Diver Platform add-ons, such as Measure Factory and DivePort-In, do not appear in the licensing chevron on the Users tab. These add-ons do require additional licensing, but are not managed using Workbench. Workbench does manage licensing for Help Desk
There are two methods for assigning users access to applications:
Choose which client applications a user can access while creating or editing the user's settings. This method is useful while creating or editing individual users.

The Users tab displays a table of all users on the DiveLine server and the number of total and assigned licenses. You can assign client application categories per user in this table. This method is useful after users are created because you can monitor how many licenses per category are already assigned. You can always return to the Users tab to examine or change license assignments.
Click the Licensing chevron to display the licensing columns.
NOTE: You can double-click a users and make adjustments to which applications they can access on their Security/Licensing tab.
The column heading for the licensing categories shows the number of assigned licenses and the total available license types (assigned/available).
The numbers adjust as you select and clear the check boxes.
NOTE: The Developer category grants access to all client applications, as shown with the shaded check boxes, without using available licenses for the categories other than Developer.
The word Infinity, when used as the number of available licenses, (assigned/available) indicates that the DiveLine server has a site license, and that there are unlimited licenses available.
