Audit Logging
The DiveLine server can record detailed information about who has accessed what data. This audit logging feature is available for customers who require more detail, such as for HIPAA, than the default DiveLine server logs provide. You set audit logging at the directory or project level, listing trigger dimensions and audit columns to monitor.
You can define audit logging for cBases and Models in Workbench projects similar to how logging is defined for classic Models in Solution 6.4. You define a set of audit-triggering dimensions, plus additional columns to log when an audit occurs.
NOTE: Audit controls are established in Workbench by using an Access Control file. Audit logging defined in previous versions using DI-Config still applies to Models referenced outside of Workbench projects (for example in a 6.4 DiveLine Namespace).
