Managing Multiple Open Projects

You can have several projects open at the same time from the same connection in a Workbench session.

The open projects are visible in Workbench Explorer on the left side of the interface. Each open project is indicated by a Package icon:

To manage multiple open projects:

  • Open multiple projects in Workbench by using FileOpen Project for each project.

  • Expand or collapse a project icon to display the Closedfolders.

You can now work with the files within this project.

Use project-specific Closedcontext commands in Workbench Explorer to view and edit project settings or to close the project.

Project Context Cmds

Use context commands to locate files that are open in tabs. With multiple open projects and multiple open tabs with files from different projects, it can become confusing as to which project a given file open in a tab belongs to. You can use the Locate in Explorer context command on a Closedtab to see which project the file is in.
