Launching DiveTab-PC from your Windows Machine

After you install DiveTab on a Windows machine, you can launch DiveTab from the Start menu.

  1. Click Start > All Programs > Dimensional Insight > DiveTab.

  2. Enter the following information:

    • Username in the first box
    • Password in the second box
    • URL of the DiveTab Project in the Server box. If the server does not show in the pull-down list, type the full URL, including the port number where necessary.

  3. Click Login.

    NOTE:First access triggers the Sync automatically. On subsequent visits, select Sync to apply recent script modifications and refresh cached data.

Things to note:

  • The Server pull-down list keeps track of up to 25 recently visited URLs in the Windows Registry.
  • The DiveTab iPad app also keeps a list of recent hosts.

  • An abbreviated URL such as <host>/<server> is resolved to https://<host>/<server>.

    NOTE:If a port number is needed, the URL is as follows: https://<host>:<port number>/<server>
