DiveTab User Navigation
DiveTab provides a rich interface for user navigation including menu areas, breadcrumb trails, sections buttons, click actions, and various output options.
Menu areas
On menu areas, a DiveTab user taps the button to display the defined areas. This action can result in the display of another menu area, or any of the other different types: data, DivePort, documents, export, presentations, repository, subsets,
When displayed for the DiveTab user, links at the upper left of each screen provide navigation from within the different levels of any menu. Selecting Menu in the upper left always brings the user back to the main menu area.
Output options
When viewing content, output and viewing options are available in the upper right of the title bar (for example Export, Email, and Print).
Here are the Output choices in the upper right.
Navigation options
Here are the navigation options. The buttons on the upper left visit previously accessed pages, while the Sections button on the lower left leads to other related pages.
On data pages, a shaded cell indicates the presence of a click action. The DiveTab user can navigate from page to page by tapping on a shaded data cell.
When diving in an ad hoc data page, a trail of breadcrumbs is created just below the title. These are links that can be used to undo previous steps. These links, similar to the “previous” button that is displayed on any page that was opened from the overview page, do not have to be defined.
