DI-Scheduler Overview

Before Workbench, the DI-Scheduler utility was used to manage jobs, events, and tasks, as well as to view their current status and history. This functionality has been replaced by Production job scheduling in Workbench.

However, this DiveLine utility is maintained as part of the Windows server installation and is available from Windows Explorer (di-scheduler.exe) or the command line (disch.exe).

TIP: If as a legacy Diver Solution user, you find yourself running a manual only Production script via DI Scheduler, note that Production does not use Scheduler's logs (atljobs.cfg). When Scheduler kicks off a Production job, Scheduler considers the job done, such that the reported finish_time is always one or two seconds after the start time. To find the actual duration of the Production job you need to examine the Production logs, not Scheduler. Use the ScriptsOverview tab in Workbench.
