Starting DivePort

You access DivePort from a web browser. Therefore, you must know (or have bookmarked) the URL of your DivePort implementation.

Open a web browser and enter the DivePort application’s URL. Specify the servername and the name of your DivePort instance. For example:

https://diverserver.domain.com:8443/mydiveport

This string is case-sensitive.

Typically, when you open DivePort, you are prompted to enter a DiveLine username and password.

Depending on the server configuration, DivePort might display a pop-up message-of-the-day after the interactive log on. The message might also include information about the last time your user account was used, and the number of failed logon attempts. This can alert you of a security breach if it shows that the last successful logon date and time is different than when you last logged on.
