In DivePort, an environment is a collection of pages that share common interface settings. They can be used to split a single portal into separate sections. For example, an organization might have a separate environment for each department to ensure that employees can view only the content that is relevant to their role. Each environment can display your customized company portal options, or be configured with a distinct appearance.
Every portal is created with a Main environment, and more environments can be created as needed. After environments are created, they are listed in the environment selector list located on the right side of the title bar. If you have access to more than one environment, you can select from this list to move to a different environment.
Environments can be moved or copied within and between portals.
