Editing a Form Portlet

The procedure to edit a form portlet is the same regardless of whether the form is associated with a Document Library or Input Table. The example in this procedure uses an Input Table.

  1. On the DivePort title bar, select ADMIN.
  2. On the context menu, select one of the following, depending on the repository associated with the form.

    • Document Libraries
    • Input Tables

  3. Locate the form or library that is associated with the form, click the Edit Closedchevron to the left of its name, and then double-click Edit Forms.

  4. Locate the form that you want to edit, click the Edit chevron to the right of its name, and then click Edit Form.

  5. Click the Lock icon to unlock the page.
  6. If you want to edit one or more form fields, click ClosedList/Edit Fields.

    • To reorder the form fields, select the field that you want to move, and then use a drag-and-drop operation to move it up or down.
    • To add a field to the form, at the bottom right of the dialog box, click Add, and in the Add field to form dialog box, select a field, and then click OK. You can select available fields from the input table or document library.
    • To delete a form field, click the chevron to the right of the field name, and then on the context menu, click Remove.
    • To edit form field properties, click the chevron to the right of the field name, and then on the context menu, click Edit field. A list of Closedfield properties opens, which you can use to adjust the property values.

      Click OK.

    NOTE: Alternatively, you can remove or edit field properties from the Edit Form Closeddialog box.

    1. Click a field box to select it.

      A chevron icon appears on the upper right side of the field box.

    2. Click the chevron.

      A context menu opens.

    3. Click an option from the menu.
  7. To edit form properties, on the Edit Form Closeddialog box, click Edit Form Properties.

  8. Change the Closedproperties as you like and then click OK.

  9. Click the Lock icon to lock the page.
  10. Click OK to close the Edit Form dialog box.
  11. Click OK to close the Edit Forms dialog box.
  12. Click OK to close the Input Tables or Document Libraries list.
